Friday Night
Posted by Darla
Greetings from Israel!
We have just finished another FULL day. It began with a van ride to Jerusalem to the office of Salim, the man who has helped in making our schedule. We met with a Jewish man who talked to us about the delicate balance here and his opinion of the reason for conflict.
We then met with Salim again who talked about the End Times Theology. It was very interesting and again thought-provoking.
After a wonderful lunch with Salim and his office staff, we met with Angela who is an activist against the destruction of homes. We drove through Jerusalem as she pointed out sights and many statistics. She was very passionate and proved to have a lot more energy than our group did at the end of the day. I felt like my brain was over-saturated sponge. So much to think about.
We returned to our “house” for dinner and anticipate another visit from a “neighbor.” Truthfully, we, or should I say Lou, is hoping for an ice cream adventure….
Everyone is well. The weather is much cooler than we thought it would be, although today the sun was shining.
Thank you for your prayers,
The IsraelĀ Team
