Home Again - Sunday

Thank you for all your prayers. Keith and I arrived home around 3:30 p.m. and the Setters about 7:30 p.m.
To catch up…
We left Prague on Saturday morning and drove to a concentration near the Czech border. It is hard to describe what we saw there. Maybe because I am tired and just haven’t been able to wrap my mind around it. Just walking on the stone paths was an almost unbelievable feeling. Realizing that thousands of people were imprisoned there and died there is almost more than I can comprehend. We saw the barracks where they “lived.” We walked down the stone path through the “death gate” that led out to the execution area where you could still see the holes in the bricks from the shootings.
We then went to a Jewish “Ghetto” and walked through the museum and toured another of the barracks where Jews were forced to live before they were sent to the death camps.
We left and drove back into Germany and found Meissen and the factory Sue wanted to see and then on into Berlin.
Keith and I left at 5:00 a.m. We flew from Berlin to Amsterdam then on to Chicago.
Lou and Sue left a little later and flew through London.
We had a great trip with much to thank God for. I will post in a couple days to “wrap up” the report. Right now my brain is a little tired.
