Hello!

We are now at Nina’s house. We left Nadia’s today and traveled with all our luggage on the train to Brovary, then were picked up by Pastor Igor and went by car to Kalinovka.

Tonight we had our first meeting with 24 ladies present. We served a fresh fruit salad in a watermelon bowl, sandwiches of butter and caviar and cream cheese with olives. As always, we finished with tea and desserts and Ukrainian cheesecake bars. It was a good time and we spent a lot of time answering questions. I talked about Proverbs 31. Nadia translated, so it is hard to know “how it went.” Nina said it was “good.”

Everyone wanted to know about Shirley (especially Maria, who kissed me and kissed me). We reported on each one who has been here in the past. They are looking forward to Lou and Sue arriving next week.

Tomorrow we will go with Igor to buy juice for the Sunday School as well as food for the root cellar. On Friday we will go to a book expedition to purchase materials for the Church library. Saturday we will have a party with the Youth Group and then a full day on Sunday.
