It´s Wednesday already!?

Hello Again,
Yesterday was a day full of progress. We picked up the pace and put up two walls and built 16 trusses. Today we have beautiful 80 degree weather for putting the trusses up! Praise God! That´s right, we finished all 31 trusses this morning and at this very moment are working together on one of the most difficult tasks of putting them up. So far so good. Keep us in your prayers as we finish these trusses and begin to put the tin on the roof tomorrow. Safety is the big concern as our guys are so high off of the ground.
A few representatives were able to meet with the pastors of the Alliance of Rio Bravo yesterday as well. The meeting was productive and a good chance for the pastors and representatives to ask and have answered any questions they may have. We are at the beginning of a great journey together.
One of the highlights of last night was that Pastor Alan was asked to give the message at the evening church service. His message was about how our God is a missionary God, and that all of us as believers are called to serve God in whatever mission field He calls us to, near or far. The Holy Spirit was definitely at work as each word was translated into Spanish for the congregation. We were able to witness firsthand that God´s love and power has no language, no border. The MN team plus Silia was also able to share a tune! We sang Amazing Grace, and it was such a wonderful thing to be able to share with them. We started out with no music, but as we sang, David, the youth pastor recognized the tune and played his guitar along with us!
Tonight we will be going to another church called Principe De Paz which is led by the same pastor (Abelina) as Iglesia Eben - Ezer. This will be another good time to meet more believers in the city, and we´re very excited.
Thanks for the comments and prayers… keep them coming!

Hello Friends,
It’s been so exciting to get a day by day report on how it’s going for you. It’s amazing that you’ve been able to accomplish so much in such a short time! We’re praying for you and the updates help us to know what the special needs are. We look forward to hearing more details when you get home. Blessings!

Hey Gang -
Thanks for your great updates. I feel like I can picture exactly what you’re up to! I’ve been praying for your safety, encouragement, physical strength and a united team. I’m excited to hear more when you get home. Dad came home from the hospital yesterday afternoon and is doing great - no problem with the stairs, he slept in his own bed! Thanks for all of your prayers. I’ll continue praying on this end.

I have goosebumps and tears as I read your blog post! I find it difficult to put into words how we feel. We serve a God who keeps His promises and you are the result of the vision He showed so many years ago. The multiplication process has begun. You won’t be the same when you go home.
Don’t let anyone miss the “God-sightings”.
We pray for your safety today and the rest of the week.
Keith returns home tonight and I have already heard his amazement at all that you have accomplished. Thank you for listenting to “the call” and sharing your hearts with our brothers and sisters in Rio Bravo. You are an answer to their prayers!
Love you! Give John and Bev a hug from us! Wish they could stop by Rockford and we could have time to talk. We’ll look forward to some long phone calls!
