Our Last Day Here
Posted by Darla
Once again I am in a hurry.
This morning I drove John and Bev to Rio Bravo. They were greeted with two things……..the Youth Pastor, David’s wife had her baby last night! They were worried as she was two weeks over due. We felt selfish praying that she would deliver before the MN team arrives, as David needs to be with the team. But God had it all taken care of. She delivered a healthy baby last night! Then upon their arrival they were greeted by a man who speaks English! He knows all about the project plans and was to take them to Home Depot today to order all the materials. God is Good!
Our team finished up today, painting, grouting the tile, setting sinks and installing lights.
Bonnie, Edie, Demi and I have spent the afternoon preparing for our “Thank You Dinner” to be held at Nueva Vida for all the ladies who cooked all week for us. We are expecting around 60 people.
We will leave VH tomorrow around 7:30 a.m. It has been a great week. Everyone is tired, but happy.
I will update the site when we get home. From here on, Bri from the MN group will write posts on their team, so keep checking the site!
Thank you for walking with us these two weeks. Pray for Keith as he stays until Wednesday, finishing up on things, and helping the MN team.
We ARE BLESSED
